Acrobatics & Tumbling Ranked Sixth in NCATA Preseason Coaches' Poll
FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling team was ranked sixth in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association Preseason Poll, as announced by the NCATA on Thursday.
After being ranked second in the MEC and 12th in the NCATA last season in both preseason polls, Frostburg kicks off their 2024 season having moved up in both rankings, being predicted first in the MEC preseason poll as well. The Bobcats are coming off their first-ever MEC Regular Season and Tournament Championship in program history, as well as their first-ever NCATA National Tournament appearance.
After a 10-3 season last year and an undefeated 5-0 conference record, the Bobcats welcome back five All-MEC honorees with Navah Marierose, Isabella Mongelluzzo, Laiken Spahr, Kaitlin Bolton, and NCATA All-American Abbie Backer. Frostburg opens their season on the road against Notre Dame College on Saturday, February 10 at 1 PM.
