Women's Rugby Places Five on NIRA All-Academic Team
FROSTBURG, Md. – The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) announced their 2024 All-Academic Team on Thursday with Frostburg State Women's Rugby junior Molly Wentling and sophomores Lauren Dils, LaJess Jordan, Ella Rothhaar, and Yasmine Tyndell being recognized.
Frostburg is coming off their second-ever season, improving to a record of 5-4 and seeing their first-ever NIRA Playoff appearance. Showing their talents in the classroom, Jordan and Rothhaar both currently hold a 3.9 GPA as Sustainable Construction Management and Business Administration majors, while Tyndell is right behind them in Pshycolgoy with a 3.8 GPA. Dils continues the success showing a 3.7 in Criminal and Legal Studies, while Wentling has a 3.6 in Exercise & Sport Science.
