Larry Williams Elected to MSABC Hall of Fame
FROSTBURG, Md. - The Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches announced Frostburg State Assistant Coach Larry Williams as one of three members selected to its 2025 Hall of Fame class.
Williams has been at FSU for six seasons, joining his son and head coach, Anthony, who took over the program in 2019-20. "I would like to thank the members and Board of Directors of the MSABC for this selection. It is truly special to be elected to such a prestigious honor by your peers." - Williams.
Larry has spent decades in various coaching levels across the state of Maryland, from little league to high school to junior college to NCAA Division I and II tournaments. He has been a head coach at the high school and JUCO level, while serving as an assistant at both Frostburg and UMBC, helping lead both to NCAA Tournament appearances. Additionally, he spent time as a coach for Team Maryland at national tournaments, as well as serving as an associate scout for several MLB associations.
