Osborne Earns Second Team All-MEC as Men's XC Places 8th at Championships
WHEELING, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team placed eighth of ten teams at the MEC Championships on Saturday morning.
Junior Gage Osborne led the way for FSU, placing 14th overall at 27:01.98, earning Second Team All-MEC honors in the process. Among the top-50 finishes were junior Jaxon Jones (27:55.49) in 30th, with freshman Connor McIntyre (28:45.96) and junior Ray Gibson (28:54.21) in 43rd and 46th, respectively.
Sophomore Ben Saltysiak (29:48.29) came across as the final scoring Bobcat, while freshman Angel Ruiz Rivera (30:29.48), sophomore Ethan McKee (31:15.31), and freshman Braydon Mosier (31:41.90) all concluded the meet.
Frostburg next will take part in the Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday, November 8 in Lock Haven, Pa. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
