Halling's Championship Performance Leads to MEC Co-Wrestler of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - After his collegiate debut performance, Tanner Halling was named the MEC Co-Wrestler of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
Halling announced himself with a string of strong performances at the Pioneer Open, winning five total matches to secure the 133-lb title. During his run, he took down the 11th-ranked NCWA wrestler in the country in the semifinals before winning the championship bout 14-3.
