Men's Swimming Dominates at Vulcan Invitational in Two Day Sweep
CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Frostburg State Men's Swim team completed a two-day victory at the Vulcan Invitational, besting Bethany and Salem (WV) across each day.
FSU couldn't have asked for a better start to the meet, as their 200 free relay teams went first through third, starting with sophomore Dylan King, junior Josh Horner, senior Mikkel LeBlanc, and graduate PJ Emrich (1:30.60) followed by sophomores Josh Stokes and Tory Reynolds, freshman Dylan Dela-Vega, and senior Sean O'Connor (1:33.10), then finishing up with juniors Nigel Webster and Alex Whitton, sophomore Isaac Cummings, and freshman Nate Schwarz (1:34.06).
Senior Nate Canapp picked up the first individual victory of the game in the 400 IM, winning at 4:24.67, followed by Reynolds taking the 50 free in 22.60.
