Fanny Named MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Cornerback Osman Fanny was named the MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
The redshirt freshman was responsible for two special teams touchdowns in FSU's narrow 31-26 road loss to Cal (Pa.). He returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter before blocking a punt in the second, from which Marquise Allsup scooped and scored for another TD.
