Love, Buckwalter Named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-Americans
SPARKS, Md. – Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse graduates Bubba Love and Chase Buckwalter were each named Third Team All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Both players had some of the top offensive performances in program history, as each finished out their FSU careers. Love recorded 49 goals and 35 assists for 84 total points, the second-most in school history, while his assist total tied for the third-most all-time. He also broke the program career points record and tied the goals mark, being named the ECC Offensive Player of the Year.
Buckwalter tied Love with 49 scores, as both were the second-best marks all-time, while tacking on 18 assists for 67 points, the seventh-most in a single season. His breakout offensive season earned him First Team All-ECC honors.
All-Americans were chosen by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from coaches and conferences across the country, as 31 total Division II schools were represented, all listed below.
