DeMaio Earns MEC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Graduate Camden DeMaio received MEC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors after the team's opening week of play, as the award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
Kicking off her final season in a Bobcat uniform, DeMaio knotted a goal and four assists in the team's opening season win over Holy Family, guiding Frostburg to a dominant 21-2 victory. DeMaio then went on to earn two goals and one assist in the team's close 10-9 hard fought loss to Bloomsburg over the weekend. DeMaio currently leads the team in assists (5) and points (8) to start the season.
