Dominguez Earns First Career Special Teams Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Redshirt sophomore punter Sam Dominguez was named the MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office on Monday.
In FSU's double overtime loss to Glenville State, Dominguez helped the Bobcats regularly flip the field with six punts for 295 yards, averaging 49.2 yards per kick. Four of his punts went over 50 yards, while three landed inside the 20, including a pair that were both downed at the 1-yard line.
