Bage Takes MEC Men's Wrestler of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Sophomore Gavin Bage was recognized as MEC Men's Wrestler of the Week, as the award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
Bage was the lone Bobcat to go undefeated in the team's tri-meet on Sunday, where the team took another conference win with a 45-9 victory over Fairmont, before falling to No. 11 Kutztown 39-3. Both in the 285 lb weight class, Bage pinned his Fairmont opponent in 5:08, while taking the 6-3 decision over the Golden Bears, for Frostburg's lone win over the nationally ranked team.
