Strength & Conditioning Adds Three

FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State head strength & conditioning coach Kyle Linhart has announced that he has added three assistant coaches to his staff for the upcoming 2016-17 year.

FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State head strength & conditioning coach Kyle Linhart has announced that he has added three assistant coaches to his staff for the upcoming 2016-17 year.
 
Former Frostburg football player Anschel Maile-Moskowitz returns as an assistant on Linhart's staff, while Jeromey Johnson comes to Frostburg after assisting with the University of Minnesota strength staff for the last six months. Luke Martin will serve as a graduate assistant after graduation from Ohio State this past May.
 
Maile-Moskowitz graduated from FSU in May 2013 with his bachelor's degree in athletic training. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
 
Prior to his return, Maile-Moskowitz was an assistant sports performance coach at the University of Kansas since December 2015. He helped with the strength and conditioning program's for men's cheerleading, women's basketball, women's soccer, softball, women's tennis, women's golf, swimming and diving, baseball and volleyball.
 
Maile-Moskowitz served a six-month internship with Kansas prior to becoming an assistant. He assisted with the design and implementation of sport specific training programs that included strength, power, plyometric, agility and mobility and worked with many of the same teams.
 
Before graduating from FSU, Maile-Moskowitz was an intern on Linhart's staff from January 2013-May 2013. He was responsible for the strength and conditioning programs for the women's soccer goalkeepers and assisted with men's lacrosse, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, field hockey and football.
 
As an athletic training student, Maile-Moskowitz earned over 600 clinical hours, while developing and implementing treatment and rehabilitation protocols for student-athletes.
 
He served as a student assistant coach for the Bobcat football team for a year following a four-year playing career. As a student-athlete, Maile-Moskowitz served as a defensive captain and was an Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) All-Academic selection. As a senior, he made 15 total tackles with two TFL's.
 
At Minnesota, Johnson assisted with the training of the Big Ten Champion men's hockey team and the National Champion women's hockey program. He also assisted with the coaching and program implementation for the track & field and swimming & diving teams.
 
While working at Minnesota, Johnson also assisted the Augsburg College athletic department as a strength and conditioning intern. He worked with both the nationally-ranked wrestling and nationally-ranked men's hockey programs, while implementing the in-season training programs for men's soccer and women's hockey.
 
Since January 2015, Johnson has been a sports performance coach for STACK Velocity Sports Performance. He worked speed, agility and quickness training methods and helped with strength/power conditioning for kids ages 8-19.
 
Johnson also served as a sports performance volunteer at St. Louis University (Nov. '14-April '15) and a strength and conditioning coach at Elite Performance Academy (May '13-August '14).
 
Johnson, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), earned his bachelor's degree in strength and conditioning from Coe College in May 2013 and his master's degree in human performance from Lindenwood in December 2015.
 
At Coe, Johnson was a three-year member and three-year letterwinner for the football team on the offensive line. He helped the Kohawks to 29 wins during his career, including a 10-2 record with an NCAA Playoff appearance as a sophomore.
 
Johnson also currently competes as an Olympic weightlifter.
 
Martin comes to Frostburg after serving as a strength and conditioning intern at Ohio State University from January-July of 2016. He assisted in the design and implementation of resistance, mobility, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for over 30 NCAA Division I sports teams. He also assisted in conducting FMS screenings, strength tests and conditioning tests for various athletic teams.
 
Prior to Ohio State, Martin was a recreation intern for the Dublin Community Recreation Center in Dublin, Ohio in 2015. He facilitated sports leagues, designed and implemented marketing and advertising campaigns and helped design, staff and operate summer camp programs.
 
Martin has also worked as a Youth Sports Programs Director/Coach for Jump Start Sports in Columbus, Ohio, a Chiropractic Assistant at Reilly Chiropractic in Columbus and was a Fitness Specialist at Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center in Kettering, Ohio.
 
Martin worked as a Strength and Conditioning Volunteer Intern at Fast Twitch Performance Enhancement in 2012-13. He designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for athletes from grades 3-college. He also coached athletes through training sessions that included resistance training, speed/agility training and conditioning skills.
 
Also in 2012, Martin was a volunteer strength and conditioning assistant football coach at Bellbrook High School.
 
Martin graduated from Ohio State University this past May with a bachelor's degree in exercise science education. He was a two-time Dean's List student and was treasurer of Phi Upsilon Omicron National Honor Society Gamma Chapter.
 
Martin is a certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN) and he is currently studying for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
