BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – For the second time this season, linebacker Carter Mazalewski was named the Mountain East Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
Mazalewski helped drive FSU's defensive effort in a 33-7 win over Concord, holding a team averaging over 30 points per game to their season-low. The redshirt sophomore made a team-high 10 tackles, including 2.5 for loss and a sack, while also accruing a pair of QB hurries.
