Marcucci Earns MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Redshirt sophomore Jordan Marcucci was named MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
BRIDGEPORT. W.Va. – Redshirt sophomore Jordan Marcucci was named MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
For the third consecutive game, Marcucci ran a kickoff return back for a touchdown for Frostburg's first score of their game, this time doing so against UNC Pembroke. Marcucci ran the ball back 92-yards on the opening kickoff to FSU, before using two more kick returns for good field position off 41 and 86-yard returns. Marcucci finished the day with seven returns for a total of 292 yards.
