Buenger Named AMCC Golfer of the Week
GIBSONIA, Pa. — Senior Sean Buenger was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golfer of the Week, Monday.
GIBSONIA, Pa. — Senior Sean Buenger (Westminster, Md./Westminster) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golfer of the Week, Monday.
Buenger earned the honor after winning the Mt. Aloysius Invitational last Tuesday. He shot a 77 to best a field of 38 competitiors.
Earlier this afternoon, Buenger shot a 79 and finished second at the FSU Tournament held at the Rocky Gap Resort. He lost in a one-hole playoff to Lake Erie's Justin Brown, who birdied the hole to earn the win.
Frostburg State returns to action on Friday, October 5 at the AMCC Championships at 9:00 am.
