BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Senior Max Proctor was named MEC Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as this award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
Proctor pitched a complete game shutout against Salem, helping Frostburg capture the 7-0 win in game one of Sunday's doubleheader against the Tigers. Proctor threw 83 pitches in seven innings, giving up only five hits and two walks, while striking out five.
