WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – The Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse team had three players take home ECC Weekly Awards with graduate Chase Buckwalter, senior Austin Sipes, and junior Seamus Kearney being selected.

After two huge one-goal wins this past week, Buckwalter was named ECC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.  Buckwalter, midfield, went off in Frostburg's neutral site game against Wilmington, leading the team to a 13-12 victory, connecting on a career high six goals while also providing two assists and two ground balls.  In FSU's seven-goal comeback victory over Molloy, Buckwalter had a goal and two helpers, including the game-winning assist.

Kearney and Sipes were named to the ECC Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll for their performances on both ends of the field in Frostburg's two-win week.  Kearney, long stick midfielder, led a solid defensive effort going for a season-high five caused turnovers and seven ground balls against the Wildcats, while dishing out his first two assists of the season to go with a ground ball and a caused turnover against the Lions.  Sipes, attack, scored six goals across the two games, including a team-high four goals to lead the Bobcats comeback over Molloy.
