Miller Named Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After being named MEC Softball Player of the Week, junior Arden Miller was recognized as the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week, announced on Tuesday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Miller had an outstanding week at the plate, finishing with a .667 average across four games, helping Frostburg sweep Bowie State in the team's home opener. Miller collected eight total hits on the week, along with seven runs, 11 RBI, and four home runs. On Sunday against the Bulldogs, Miller went a perfect 7-for-7 from the plate, seeing four runs, 10 RBI, and three bombs, with one being a grand slam.
