Miller Selected as MEC Softball Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Junior Arden Miller was named MEC Softball Player of the Week for her stellar performance at the plate across four games, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
Miller helped Frostburg to a 2-2 week, where the Bobcats swept their home opener on Sunday against Bowie State. On Friday against Seton Hill, Miller knocked a home run for an RBI, while also scoring three runs. This was Miller's warm up for the weekend, as she then went a perfect 7-for-7 across two games with the Bulldogs, leading FSU to a 7-3 win in game one, followed by a 14-7 win in game two. Miller totaled three home runs on Sunday, one being a grand slam, while finishing with four runs and 10 RBI.
