Weakley Named D2CCA Second Team All-American for Second Straight Year

On Tuesday, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced the All-America Teams, with Frostburg State Women's Basketball sophomore Emilee Weakley being named to the D2CCA Second Team.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - On Tuesday, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced the All-America Teams, with Frostburg State Women's Basketball sophomore Emilee Weakley being named to the D2CCA Second Team. 
 
Continuing to rack up the accolades, Weakley adds to her collection of WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches All-American Honorable Mention, MEC Player of the Year, First Team All-MEC, and D2CCA First Team All-Region honors.  For the second straight year, Weakley led all of Division II in scoring with 25.2 points per game, also grabbing 6.8 rebounds per game.  Weakley led Frostburg in steals with 37 on the season, while going for two 40-point games and four double-doubles.  In her second year at FSU, Weakley surpassed 1,000 career points, as she currently sits ninth on the program's all-time scoring list. 
 
Weakley was named Second Team All-American for the second straight year, being one out of two players to receive All-American honors out of the region.
