Men's Lacrosse Sees Six All-ECC Mentions

The East Coast Conference announced their 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference awards on Wednesday, with Frostburg State seeing six players receive First and Second Team honors.

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced their 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference awards on Wednesday, with Frostburg State seeing six players receive First and Second Team honors.
 
Senior Wesley Phillips, rounding out his career in a Bobcat uniform, captured First Team All-ECC honors, leading the team in points with 50 going for 21 goals and a team and conference high 29 assists in the lead attack role, while also providing a solid number of ground balls in 33.  Sophomore Luke Roach, seeing his first All-Conference honor, joins Phillips on the First Team, leading Frostburg in goals during 2025 with 29, while also seeing seven assists and 18 groundballs.  Senior Seamus Kearney earned himself another First Team All-ECC selection, paving the defensive effort for FSU with a team-high 35 caused turnovers and 54 ground balls, while also slicing in four goals as well.  Senior Alex Walstrum rounds out the First Team nods for the Bobcats, carrying the face-off team for Frostburg with a 121-for160 showing in the X for an ECC best .756%, while also scooping a team-high 88 ground balls and knotting a pair of goals and assists as well.
 
Senior goalkeeper Logan Covey was given Second Team All-ECC honors for his outstanding season in net, where he racked up 148 saves for a 7.43 goals against average and .635 save percentage, being credited for six of FSU's wins.  Senior Landon Bruce also earned a Second Team selection, also providing on the defensive end for Frostburg, where he saw 23 groundballs and 15 CT's.
