McCoy Named USTFCCCA All-Region
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Field season, with senior Tom McCoy earning the distinction in the pole vault.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Field season, with senior Tom McCoy earning the distinction in the pole vault.
During the indoor season, McCoy continued to excel in the pole vault, breaking and resetting his all-time best mark. McCoy broke his previous school record, clearing 4.90m in Frostburg's first meet of the indoor season, before extending to a 4.97m in the Fastrack Last Chance Meet in Staten Island to win the event and set a new program best. Being crowned a MEC Indoor Champion in the event, he is currently tied for 23rd in the country and second among Atlantic Region schools.
