Osborne Finishes Top-10 as Men's XC Places Fourth at Shenandoah Twilight

The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team took fourth place out of seven total teams at the Shenandoah Twilight Invitational on Friday evening.

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team took fourth place out of seven total teams at the Shenandoah Twilight Invitational on Friday evening. 

Junior Gage Osborne paced the Bobcats with a time of 20:44.4 to take 10th overall. Next in line were classmates Jaxon Jones (21:31.0) in 21st overall and 15th among scoring runners and Jack Hynes (21:48.9) in 30th overall and 22nd in scoring. 

In FSU's final scoring runners, freshman Angel Ruiz Rivera (22:20.2) and junior Matthew Brennan (22:24.7) were close to one another in 24th and 26th, respectively, while junior Isayah Stewart (23:07.9) and sophomore Ethan McKee (23:25.7) placed 29th and 31st among scorers. 

Frostburg will now have a short break in competition before heading to the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday, September 27 at 10 a.m. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
