Miniefield Named MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Specialist of the Week
Freshman Bailey Miniefield was awarded MEC Specialist of the Week for the first time in her career, getting the first weekly award of the season for Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling. The award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Freshman Bailey Miniefield was awarded MEC Specialist of the Week for the first time in her career, getting the first weekly award of the season for Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling. The award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
Helping her receive the honor, Miniefield succeeded in the tumbling event, getting a season-high in both the duo pass and the individual aerial pass. In the duo pass, Miniefield helped the Bobcats score a 7.85/8.60, before seeing an 8.425/8.60 in the aerial pass, all assisting Frostburg to their highest finish of the season with a 238.295 overall score on Thursday.
