Montano Receives Second Consecutive MEC Player of the Week Honor
Junior Mike Montano was named the MEC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, presented by the Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Junior Mike Montano was named the MEC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, presented by the Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
In another standout performance, Montano put up 41 points and 18 rebounds in a narrow 95-94 loss on the road against Clarion last Wednesday. His scoring total was the fourth-highest in program history and his rebounding was the ninth-most in a single game. He currently leads all of Division II in each category, averaging 33.3 points and 15 boards.
