Women's Cross Country Runs at Lock Haven Invitational

The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team placed 26th in the Lock Haven XC Invite on Saturday morning in a crowded field of 37 total teams.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team placed 26th in the Lock Haven XC Invite on Saturday morning in a crowded field of 37 total teams.

Sophomore Alana Dyce-Giraud led Frostburg with a 22:53 time, setting a personal record and the fourth best time in the last 20 years of FSU history. Freshman Hannah Schauman was next to finish with a 23:41 time, also a personal record, and the eighth fastest time in Bobcat history.

Freshman Paige Etonyer (24:03), junior Chelsea Montau (25:27), and freshman Jazmine Pinon (29:11) all went on to set personal records, while juniors Amy Tarcza (25:42) and Bridget Sawyers (29:12) both ran season bests, and freshman Emily Wishart made her collegiate debut, knotting a 26:25 time. Additionally, junior Liz Stanley added a 25:16 time, while sophomore Adra Schell finished with a 26:03 time.
