- DescriptionIn partnership with the Allegany County Library System, the Lewis J. Ort Library, Frostburg Parks & Rec, and Savage Mountain Punk Arts, the Frostburg State University Center for Literary Arts is excited to announce the annual Western Maryland Independent Literature (Indie Lit) Festival.
This event celebrates the writers, publishers, and readers of small press and independent publishing. The weekend features a poetry slam, readings, roundtable discussions, practical “how to” sessions, and a small press book fair in Frostburg, Maryland.

Friday's reading by George Guida and all of the Saturday events are free and open to the public.
