- May 43:00 PMFSU Wind Ensemble Concert - "May the Fourth Be With You"Frostburg State University’s Department of Music presents "May the Fourth Be With You", a concert by the FSU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Peter B. Lewis, on Sunday, May 4, at 3:00 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for seniors, military, and FSU faculty and staff; and free for students and children. Advance tickets can be purchased online at tickets.frostburg.edu or at the University Box Office, Lane University Center 203 (M-F 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). They will also be available at the door the evening of the performance. This event will not be livestreamed.The concert will feature music from soundtracks for the epic, blockbuster movies "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith", "Indiana Jones", "Star Trek", and (maybe not epic, but a great animated movie) "How to Train Your Dragon". The program also includes Gandalf and Journey in the Dark from "The Lord of the Rings Symphonic Suite" by Johann de Meij, and will feature a new composition, "Hierophant", by FSU music major, Patrick Godfrey.The FSU Wind Ensemble is the premiere wind concert organization on campus, consisting of a select group of players in a smaller, generally one-on-a-part setting, that presents two concerts a semester.
