Guy Selected as MEC Baseball Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Junior Mikey Guy was named MEC Baseball Player of the Week for his offensive performance at the plate over Frostburg's five-game week. This award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
Guy went 12-for-18 from the plate in FSU's midweek game against Shippensburg followed by a four-game series with Fairmont, belting a double, a triple, and four home runs, while scoring nine runs and collecting 11 RBI. Guy recorded at least one hit in every game, including a 4-for-4 performance against the Falcons in game two of Thursday's doubleheader, where he hit three home runs and a double, coming around to score three runs and knot a total of six RBI.
