Women's Tennis Voted Fifth in MEC Preseason Poll
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Frostburg State Women's Tennis team was predicted to finish fifth in the Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll, as announced on Wednesday by the league office.
Frostburg finished with an even 11-11 record last season, picking up two wins in MEC play with a 6-1 victory against West Virginia Wesleyan, and a 7-0 sweep over Davis & Elkins. The Bobcats welcome back six players from last years roster, being led by Second Team All-MEC selections Lorena Pintar and Julia Ramos.
FSU starts their season on Friday, February 9 as they travel to face Slippery Rock at 6:45 PM. The Bobcats will open MEC play on Saturday, April 6 at 1 PM as they welcome in West Virginia Wesleyan.
