Wishart, Etnoyer Finish in Top 100 for Women's XC at Paul Short Run

The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team went on the road to compete the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday.

BETHLEHEM, PA – The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team went on the road to compete the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday. 
 
The meet featured 155 women's programs took part in the Paul short with well over 1,000 total runners. The 6k was broken into five groups, with the Bobcats running in the women's college green grouping, placing 17th out of 32 teams. 
 
Frostburg had two runners in the top 100 in sophomores Emily Wishart (23:58.7) and Paige Etnoyer (24:50.5) finishing 32nd and 72nd, respectively. Senior Amy Tarcza turned in a 25:46, the third fastest time for FSU on the day, while freshman Keira Taylor (26:10.9) and senior Chelsea Montau (26:16.6) rounding out the scoring times. Freshman Morgan Ruggles was the final Bobcat to compete, as her 26:22.6 rounded out the Frostburg times.

Frostburg will have a short layoff before heading to Oglebay Resort to run in the MEC Championships on Saturday, October 26. For more information, please visit frostburgsports.com
