Why do you love FSU?
I found my way when I was at FSU and learned I had a strength I didn't realize I had. The lessons I learned at FSU continue to help me every day.
Why do you do for fun?
I love to go sailing, going to the theme parks in Orlando, and learning how to fix things in my house (DIY).
Tell us about a class or activity at FSU that has had a surprising effect on your life.
Surviving finals taught me I could get through anything.
What is your favorite band?
I'm a Metallica fan.
What is your favorite memory of your time as a Frostburg student?
Working in the Alumni Office during the hustle and bustle of Homecoming.
What is a cause dear to your heart?
Dog and cat rescue
Tell us about a person or persons from FSU who had an impact on your life.
Liz Nelson '01/M'17, Shannon Gribble '98 and Cherie Krug (honorary alumnae). They were all instrumental in helping me to keep moving forward. I returned to school later than most people and it was harder than I thought. I almost gave up. Liz, Shannon and Cherie were there for me when I needed them and kept me from quitting.
What is your favorite comfort food?
Anything my mom cooks!
What is your favorite vacation spot?
I live in Florida!
