Guy Receives ABCA/Rawlings All-Defensive Team Honors
GREENSBORO, NC – The 2025 ABCA NCAA Division II Region All-Defensive Teams were announced on Thursday with Frostburg State Baseball senior Mikey Guy representing third base for the Atlantic Region.
Adding to his accolades of First Team All-MEC and ABCA/Rawlings NCAA First Team All-Region, Guy put up solid numbers in his final collegiate season leading Frostburg in his (71), doubles (15), and RBI (54), helping him tie the program record for career hits with 168. The slugger posted a .372 batting average to go for 40 runs, six home runs, and a .576% slugging percentage.
To help him receive his first career defensive honor, Guy started 52 games at third base going for a .981 fielding percentage, while showing 31 putouts, 73 assists, and seven doubles plays with just two errors on the year.
The defensive teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Division II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
