Waddell Earns Field Hockey's First-Ever PSAC Weekly Award
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Senior Ava Waddell was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Waddell helped Frostburg both offensively and defensively to the team's second-ever PSAC victory, with a 3-2 road win over Millersville on Saturday. Waddell scored the team's first and third goals, which were the tying and game winning goals at the time. Her two goals and four points in the contest set new career-highs for the defender.
With Frostburg just joining the PSAC this season, Waddell is the first-ever Bobcat in program history to earn PSAC weekly honors.
