O'Neill Named MEC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Graduate Maura O'Neill received MEC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan.
O'Neill, midfield, did it all for Frostburg in the team's 24-5 home victory over D&E on Wednesday, winning four draw controls, scooping up three ground balls, causing three turnovers, and scoring a goal as well to help the Bobcats stay undefeated in conference play.
