Smith Named United Soccer Coaches Second Team Scholar All-American
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced the association's 2024 Women's Scholar All-America Teams for all levels of college soccer, with Frostburg State senior Cat Smith earning Division II Second Team Scholar All-American honors.
Adding to her accolades on and off the field, Smith was also named a College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American and a D2CCA Second Team All-American.
In her final season in a Bobcat uniform, Smith shined on all cylinders, leading FSU to their fifth straight MEC Division Title and the team's third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, all while holding a 3.71 GPA in the Nursing program.
