Shutout of UC Helps Foret Take Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – Sophomore goalkeeper Jan Foret was named the Mountain East Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
Foret stood out in net to help FSU to a 1-0-1 week in which they defeated Wheeling and earned their first-ever point against No. 5 Charleston (WV). Against the Cardinals, he made a pair of saves in a 3-1 victory, then he put up five stops in a 0-0 shutout draw with the Golden Eagles.
