Hatch Coaches Division III All-Star Team at Championship Weekend
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Former Frostburg men's basketball coach Webb Hatch was selected to coach the NABC Reese's Division III College All-Star Team this past weekend.
Hatch has been a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches for over 40 years and was the Bobcats' head coach for 19 seasons, retiring from Frostburg after the 2017-2018 season as the program's winningest coach.
The Reese's Division III College All-Star Team was announced March 11 and was made up of two ten-man teams, taking place at Allen County War Memorial Colliseum following the Division III National Championship game between Trine and Hampden-Sydney. Coach Hatch's won the game 127-106 over the team led by Steve Moore, retired Wooster College Men's Basketball Coach.
"I had three great days March 14-16 in Fort Wayne for the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Final Four. It was great to be back on the sideline coaching a team and to also spend time with many of my NABC peers and friends", said Hatch.
