Portillo Named MEC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Sophomore forward Hugo Portillo was named MEC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career. This award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
Portillo helped Frostburg take down District of Columbia on Wednesday evening, knotting two goals in the team's 3-0 shutout win. Over the span of two games, Portillo took six shots at goal and played 126 minutes.
