Three Added to Athletic Training Staff For 2022-23 Year
FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State Director of Athletics Troy Dell has announced that three athletic trainers have been added to the athletics department for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year.
Daneil Bittinger previously worked with Frostburg State doing an Internship last academic year focusing on the swimming and baseball programs while assisting with football. Also during the time, he created a nutritional program for the Co-Northern Division Champion Baseball program. Bittinger graduated from Frostburg State with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Sports Management.
Ian Walker joins the staff after working with now Division I Lindenwood University. Walker worked with the Lions multiple Ice Hockey, Cross Country, and Track & Field programs. Walker also assisted in creating COVID-19 return to play protocals for College Hockey America during his tenure. Walker is a dual graduate from Lindenwood obtaining a Bachelors in Athletic Training in 2017 and a Masters in Counselor Education in 2019.
Carli Cressman joins FSU from nearby NJCAA Potomac State College. Cressman worked with the Men's Soccer, Cross Country, Women's Basketball and Softball programs. Cressman also worked to revise the sports medicine policies, proceedures and exmination practices. Cressman is a dual graduate from Gannon University recieving a Bachelors Degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2016 and later a Masters in Athletic Training in 2018.
