BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Redshirt sophomore Jordan Marcucci was named MEC Football Special Teams Player of the Week, as the award was announced by the league office on Monday and is presented by The Health Plan.
In Frostburg's close 26-25 loss to Wheeling on Thursday, Marcucci started the game with a 95-yard touchdown return to the house off the opening kickoff to put the Bobcats up 7-0 in the first 13 seconds of play. Marcucci finished the night with three kickoff returns for a total of 115 yards.
