Frostburg State To Host Youth Bobcat Day on Saturday, April 27th
FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State Athletics and Bobcat Pride will be hosting Youth Bobcat Day on Saturday, April 27, featuring several activities during home events.
Free shirts along with goodie bags provided by Somerset Trust will be available for those that are pre-registered and check in to Youth Day while supplies last, and admission is free to all events throughout the day.
At the Men's Lacrosse contest against District of Columbia in Bobcat Stadium, there will be a shooting clinic held at halftime of the game. Joint Training Facility will also be at the stadium from 1-3 PM, featuring lawn games, as concessions will be open in Bobcat Stadium during that time.
The Softball team will be hosting West Virginia State at Bobcat Field beginning at 1 PM, as youth day participants will have the chance to run the bases in between games and will be able to attend a meet and greet session after the second game of the doubleheader, featuring an autograph session with players and coaches.
Similarly, the same opportunities will be available at Bob Wells Field, where Baseball will be hosting Notre Dame College beginning at 1 PM. Opportunities to run the bases in between games and an autograph session at the conclusion of the doubleheader will be available.
Additionally, the Men's and Women's tennis teams will both be in action against Davis & Elkins, where attendees are welcome to enjoy the matches at the Bobcat Tennis Courts.
