Athletic Training Announces Pair of Hires for Upcoming Year

The Frostburg State Athletic Training Staff has announced the addition of new hires Tucker Devilbiss and Jade Lewis.

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Athletic Training Staff has announced the addition of new hires Tucker Devilbiss and Jade Lewis.

Devilbiss previously served as an athletic trainer at Alderson Broaddus, beginning in 2020 where he worked with all of men's and women's soccer, wrestling, cross country, track and field, and lacrosse. Prior to his time at AB, Devilbiss was an athletic trainer at Delta State, covering additional sports such as football, baseball, both men's and women's tennis and swimming and diving.

Devilbiss received his Bachelor of Health Science Concentration in Athletic Training in 2019 from Lock Haven University, before going on to earn his Masters of Exercise Science/Health Promotion Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2020. 

Lewis joins the staff as a previous FSU athletic training student, having graduated in the spring of 2023 with her masters of the program. During her time at Frostburg, Lewis assisted with women's soccer, acrobatics and tumbling, baseball, swim, tennis, track and field, men's basketball, softball, and volleyball, all during her undergraduate and graduate programs.

Along with collegiate sports, Lewis has worked at Pivot Physical Therapy, and has served as an athletic trainer at Mountain Ridge High School, while also assisting at multiple sporting events in the area.
