Tesfay Leads Way for Men's Cross Country at LHU Invite

The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team competed at the Lock Haven Invite in the Crimson and White 8 Ks.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team competed at the Lock Haven Invite in the Crimson and White 8 Ks. 
 
The Lock Haven Invitational was made up of two separate 8 Ks for the men and two 6 ks for the women, held on the West Branch Cross Country Course at the Stern Athletic Complex. 
 
In the Crimson race the Bobcats finished 14th out of 26 teams with a total time of 2:14:25 for the top five runners. The top finish for the Bobcats came from sophomore Haben Tesfay at 26:13.3. Sophomore Jaxon Jones had a PR and finished second for FSU at 26:41.2. Sophomores Gage Osborne and Ryan Connelly and junior Brandon Stein rounded out the top five Bobcats finishing 94th, 124th and 136th respectively. 
 
In the White race Jack Hynes was the top finisher for FSU, as the sophomore finished 77th at 29:16.2. 
 
The Bobcats will compete next at the Paul Short Run on October 5th. For more information visit frostburgsports.com
