Berhanu Earns 2nd Team All-MEC, Helps Men's Cross Country to 4th Place at MEC Championships

The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team placed fourth out of 10 teams in the MEC Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning.

OGLEBAY, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team placed fourth out of 10 teams in the MEC Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning.

Sophomore Kaleb Berhanu knotted the best time for Frostburg on the day, running a 27:33.48 for a 21st finish overall, with senior Justus LePrevost coming in right behind him in 25th place clocking a 27:51.37 time. Berhanu's finish gave him Second Team All-MEC honors as well. Coming in 30th place was freshman Ryan Connelly with a time of 28:01.86, with freshman Gage Osborne (28:23.40) placing 32nd and junior Austin Comeaux (28:42.53) placing 35th.

Bringing it home for the Bobcats were junior Caeden Jones crossing the finish line for a 30:35.93 time and a 54th place finish, and freshman Matthew Brennan coming across with a 30:42.05 time and a 56th place.
