Men's Cross Country Selected Fourth in MEC Preseason Poll

The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team was predicted to finish fourth in the MEC Preseason Poll, as announced on Friday afternoon by the league office.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team was predicted to finish fourth in the MEC Preseason Poll, as announced on Friday afternoon by the league office.
 
The Bobcats earned a fourth place finish in the MEC Championships last season, coming in between Concord and West Virginia Wesleyan, as the team reached a total of 131 points for an average time of 28:06.53.  FSU had three top-five finishes on the year in 2023, including a first place finish out of 20 teams in the Bethany Invite.
 
Frostburg scored 67 total points in the poll, sitting behind Concord who is in third with 80 points, and coming right in front of Wesleyan, who has 65 points. 
 
FSU starts their season on Saturday, September 7 at the Cantello Invite held in Annapolis, MD.
