Men's Cross Country Lands 9th at Atlantic Regional Meet

The Frostburg State men's cross-country team took ninth at the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Championship, finishing with a total score of 302.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Frostburg State men's cross-country team took ninth at the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Championship, finishing with a total score of 302. 
 
The Atlantic Regional Championships were held at West Branch Cross Country Course and hosted by Lock Haven. The race was made up of 21 teams with FSU as seventh ranked team in the region going into the race. 
 
The Bobcats were led by senior Justus LePrevost with a time of 31:46.7, good enough for the 34th finish on the day. That time moves him to fourth on the FSU all-time list for a 10k race. Coming in at 43rd in 32:16.4 was junior Austin Comeaux that is now Frostburg's seventh-best 10k time. Gage Osborne fell just outside the top 50 at 32:36.8 making him 56th and the freshman is now ninth on the FSU all-time list. 
 
Freshmen Ryan Connelly and Haben Tesfay both finished in the 34th minute with final times of 33:21.2 (81st) and 33:59 (100th), respectively. Junior Caden Jones finished 112th at 34:32.7 with freshman Mathew Brennan rounding the Bobcat team out at 135th in 36:27.
