Men's Cross Country Runs at Paul Short Invite

The Frostburg State men's cross-country team finished 11th overall at the Paul Short Run in the White 8k.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Frostburg State men's cross-country team finished 11th overall at the Paul Short Run in the White 8k. 
 
The Bobcats showed well against the top teams in the region with an 11th place finish that put them ahead of two of the region's top teams. In the most recent poll, Kutztown was ninth with East Stroudsburg being tenth. FSU finished with 362 points, placing three runners in the top 60. 
 
Senior Justus LePrevost clocked in at 26:15.4, good enough for 12th individually. Next across the line for the Bobcats and 33rd overall was freshman Ryan Connelly at 26:48.8. Third for Frostburg was junior Austin Comeaux in 54th at 27:11.2. Rounding out the scoring times for FSU were freshmen Gage Osbourne and Haben Tesfay at 28:00 and 28:35.4, respectively.
 
The Bobcats will run again at the Mountain East Conference Championships on Saturday, October 21 in Oglebay, W. Va..For more information please visit frostburgsports.com.
