Five Named to USILA All-Region North Teams

The Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse team had five players receive USILA All-Region honors, as announced by the organization.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse team had five players receive USILA All-Region honors, as announced by the organization.
 
Adding on to their Third Team All-American USA Lacrosse Magazine recognitions were graduates Bubba Love and Chase Buckwalter, who each were named to the Second Team, where they were joined by senior defender Luke McCullough. Juniors Seamus Kearney and Alex Walstrum each earned a Third Team and Honorable Mention selection, respectively.  
 
Love, the ECC Offensive Player of the year, recorded 49 goals and 35 assists for 84 total points, the second-most in school history, while his assist total tied for the third-most all-time. He also broke the program career points record and tied the goals mark. Buckwalter, a First Team All-ECC member, tied Love with 49 scores, as both were the second-best marks all-time, while tacking on 18 assists for 67 points, the seventh-most in a single season. McCullough, also a First Team selection, caused 18 turnovers while picking up 43 groundballs.
 
At long stick midfield, Kearney was yet another First Team All-ECC honoree, as he became the second player in program history to reach 100 career caused turnovers with 31 on the year to go with 46 groundballs. Walstrum, a key face-off player for FSU, was named Second Team All-ECC, having gone 118-of-192 for a 64.8% success rate, the third-best percentage in program history, while picking up a team-high 70 groundballs.
