Buckwalter Takes ECC Offensive Player of the Week, Dort Receives Honor Roll
WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse graduate Chase Buckwalter was selected as the ECC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, while junior Gregg Dort was named to the Honor Roll.
In Frostburg's lone game of the week, Buckwalter led the Bobcats with four goals and a career-high three assists, adding a season-high three ground balls as well, in a 20-13 comeback win over Roberts Wesleyan on the road.
Dort, being selected to the ECC Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll for the second time this season as well, tied for the team lead with two caused turnovers while picking up five ground balls in FSU's win over the Redhawks. Dort also went 11-of-22 from the X, while scoring a goal and dishing out an assist.
